Growing up...
I was born in the remote savannah woodlands of East Africa, where I spent my early years herding cattle under wide skies and endless horizons. That life taught me patience, observation, and the beauty of patterns — lessons that still shape how I see and create today.
I’m Andom, a designer, researcher, and data storyteller who believes visuals can bridge worlds — from raw experience to refined understanding. My journey took me from herding fields to to the digital realm, where I now craft design solutions and stories that connect people, place, and purpose.
Over the years, I’ve worked with tourism, tech, and research organizations across Africa and the US — creating digital products, visual identities, and destination development projects that celebrate culture and community. I’ve also written some books and produced travel guides and illustrated maps that help travelers explore and understand the stories behind every landscape.
My passion lies in turning information into emotion — using design and storytelling to make knowledge engaging, memorable, and human. When I’m not designing or writing, you’ll likely find me outdoors, exploring new places, capturing moments, or dreaming up my next creative project.
I’m always open to collaborations that combine design, storytelling, and innovation — projects that make information not just seen, but felt.
